Nervous about applying such a powerful weed-killer to your lawn? Don't be! Spectracide Weed Stop For Lawns Plus Crabgrass Killeris what is considered a "hose-in variety" meaning that your standard garden hose nozzle easily connects for application. For each 32 oz. bottle, you'll be able to cover approximately 5,000 sq. ft., so shop according to the size of your lawn. This product works best when applied in 45–90 degree Fahrenheit weather. If weather conditions are extreme or if there is heavy rain forecasted, wait for a better day.
Here are the simple instructions for Spectracide Weed Stop For Lawns Plus Crabgrass Killer application.
- Shake the bottle well and connect the hose to the sprayer nozzle, taking special care to ensure that the switch is fully forward in the "off" position.
- Move to the farthest area of the lawn before turning the water faucet on. It is important that you do not come into contact with any of the already treated areas—be sure to keep your shoes and person off and away from the product at all times.
- To begin the treatment, turn the switch from the "off" to the "on" position and with your thumb toward the hose connection. Water will mix with the product and the spray will begin to come out of the nozzle.
- Spray the entirety of the lawn completely and evenly taking care not to miss any spots. When the application is completed, wait a few hours before allowing pets or children to resume play.
